holistic care tailored to you: integrating eastern & western Practices
My interest in acupuncture was initially sparked by a decade of Qi Gong practice and successful acupuncture treatments. The focus I learned through QI Gong has influenced my development as a practitioner. I concentrate on listening and collaborating with my clients to define and shape the approach and focus of care. In addition to connecting the holistic principles of acupuncture with the rigour of Western medicine, I am interested in cultivating mindful client-practitioner relationships.
I lead the acupuncture group at St. Christopher’s Hospice for in- and out-patients in the Complementary Therapies Department.
I operate private clinics three times a week at Neal’s Yard Remedies in Covent Garden, Breathe London in Waterloo, and the Sadhana Yoga & Wellbeing Centre in Clapham, UK. I provide treatments within the first trimester of pregnancy and onwards to delivery and I treat children with the supervision of parents.
In the wider community, I co-founded the integrated Health Clinic ‘BeWell London’ and participated in the Creating Spaces for Wellbeing Initiative at the Maudsley NHS Trust. My current activities include facilitating seminars for junior doctors, staff and practitioners. I also volunteer with the Inspiring the Future programme in schools, informing children about my career.
I am a keen traveller and have travelled to many countries over the years. I combined my passion for travel, acupuncture, and volunteering by helping at the Ananda Nagar Acupuncture Institute in West Bengal, India.
